Rationality is in the eyes of the beholder.

A lot of people would say that the devotion that's displayed in this forum towards a band, a guitarist and their music is irrational as well.

I am most assuredly not on the meditative end of the spectrum. One of my abiding memories of the childbirth process is of being fixed by a beady 'this is all your fault' glare by the imminently mother-to-be and thinking to myself 'roll with the punch, just roll with the punch...'

My wife had a mantra - "EpEhDurAL. EpEHDural". Unfortunately, she didn't get it and it was quite natural - a lot of blood, sweat and tears.
